Stuart Phillip Mallinson (Born 11 July 1949) is the late father of the actor Andy Mallinson. Stuart was born in Huddersfield. As a young man Stuart was part of Huddersfield Repertory Company, during this time Stuart was known professionally as Stuart PHILLIPS. The repertory company was run by Nita Valerie (Coronation Street). Stuart also acted along side Roy Barraclough (Coronation Street) and Edward Brayshaw (Rentaghost). Stuart gave up acting in the late 1960s and became a successful car salesman.
