surrounded by darkness?

When I was really down a few weeks ago. I wrote a list of things to thank God for. I struggled to write down five. Things seem so much brighter now. And I have returned to writing the list. Only one of the things I have written is new BUT NOW I have a whole page of things I'm thankful for. These good things were there all along, but things were so dark I couldn't see them. The brain is a funny thing. When things seem dark carry on going. Sometimes you just need to keep putting one foot in front of another. Sometimes it can be months or years of struggling on. But if you are aiming for good, noble things keep

on at it. Maybe ask God though if your on the right path.
